Ken Steele

Ken Steele, President, founded the agency that would become steelecommunications inc. in 1992, after an award-winning career as a graduate researcher in Shakespearean drama. He has provided strategic marketing expertise to hundreds of organizations and companies in all sectors, particularly those in the nonprofit and education sectors.

Ken's strategic work for Team London for Youth won the IABC Silver Leaf award, the IABC's highest national honour. Ken has taught university, college and professional courses in London and Toronto, and has written a syndicated column on graphic design.

Ken has been active in the International Association of Business Communicators, the London Chamber of Commerce, the Canadian Association of Communicators in Education (CACE), and the Canadian Education Association. He has recently served on the Boards of the Rotary Club of London South, Merrymount Children’s Centre and the Merrymount Children's Centre Foundation, and on advisory committees for the London Investment in Education Council, London Venture Group, the London Public Library, Youth Opportunities Unlimited, the London Regional Children’s Museum, and Mission Services of London.

Ken was profiled in a cover story in London Business Magazine in 1997, and is listed in the International Who's Who and the Canadian Who's Who in Marketing. He was awarded the London Chamber of Commerce's Outstanding Business Achievement Award in 1999.
